April 3: Literacy

Today you will be writing a friendly letter and practicing your consonant digraphs and blends. Writing: Click add 1. Using the writing material of your choice, write a friendly letter to either Mrs. Pavinac or Mrs. Skelton. Be sure to use capitalization, punctuation, finger spaces, snap word power, and sound spelling. Write a minimum of two sentences. 2. Draw and color a matching picture. 3. Use the photo tool to capture your image 4. Use the rec tool to record yourself reading your letter. 5. Post to Seesaw when complete. Phonics: Click add Blends and Digraph Scavenger Hunt 1. Find and label 5 items in and around your home that have consonant digraphs (sh, th, ch, wh, ph) 2. Find and label 5 items in and around your home that have consonant blends (ie: bl, sc, tr, dr, sp) 3. Use the photo tool to photograph a few of your favorite items 4. Use the mic tool to record your voice reading the words 4. Post your choices to Seesaw
