Six Cards - a subtraction investigation!

Make six cards numbered 5, 4, 3, 2, 7 and 6. Arrange them to make two three-digit numbers. The first number must be greater than the second number. Subtract. You may use any strategy you like including an algorithm. Investigate the number of different totals you can find. EXTENSION: Try again using a different set of six numbers.
