The drawing tool is versatile. Students can start with a blank template or draw on top of photos. When students use the microphone tool and add their voice to Seesaw posts you the teacher gain deeper insight into their thinking, making it easier for you to provide specific feedback and support. Before students complete this activity, teach them how to log in, post to the journal, and respond to activities. We have 4 quick lessons to teach students these essential skills at web.seesaw.me/get-students-started-kit. Give the lessons in person or virtually via video conferencing. Then, assign this activity to teach students how to use Learning Tools. In this activity, students will use the drawing tools and mic to explain how they solved a math problem. As the teacher, you’ll be able to see all student responses in one place so you gain a greater understanding of how your students are problem solving. To do this activity with students…. 1. Share this activity by tapping the green Share button. 2. Students sign in to Seesaw. 3. Students follow the steps to complete the activity.
