Student Instructions

Some of you have expressed interest in continuing your own MUSIC ARRANGING, like we've been doing in lessons this week as we create our Summer Fun Packets. Here is a link to staff paper that you can print with (or without) the staff included for your instrument. Just select your staff, print, and try to write what you hear!! Remember, the steps for arranging music are: 1) Select a song 2) Listen to the song 3) Try to figure out the first note by testing it on your instrument 4) Try to figure out each of the other notes that follow, also on your instrument. *Rhythms don't need to be exact or included at all, as this can get complicated. For now, if you can figure out some pitches, you're doing GREAT!! If you're more of a DIGITAL person, you can check out these FREE composition apps: Noteflight MuseScore Notation Pad
