Teachers, save “Respond to Reading” to assign it to your class.

1. Choose a book to read. It can be a book that you have at home, or one from the reading A-Z app. 2. When you have finished reading the book, use the pencil tools to draw a picture of your favorite part of the book. Remember to put detail into your drawing. 3. Use the pencil tool to print 3-4 sentences telling why this is your favorite book. Remember to put a capital letter at the beginning of your sentence and a period at the end. Also remember to use finger spacing between your words. 4. When you are finished your project, use the microphone tool to record yourself reading your work. 5. When you are happy with your work use the green check-mark to add your work to your journal.
