Chinese New Year (also called Lunar New Year or Spring Festival) is the most important festival in China. It lasts for 15 days and this year will begin on Sunday 22nd January. Chinese New Year is a wonderful time filled with many traditions, celebrations, festivities and feasts with family members. 2023 is the Year of the Rabbit (Water) which is a symbol of peace, prosperity and longevity in Chinese culture. Today we will learn more about the Chinese Zodiac, what they symbolise and hear about the big race!
