Day 1: Math, 100 Pennies

Student Instructions

First collect and wash 100 pennies (or as many as you can find). Then line up your pennies in rows of 10. Practice counting your pennies by 10s (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100). If you don't have 100, think carefully about how to add the ones that are not in a row of 10. Next tap add Then tap photo to take a picture of your work. Make sure it fills the screen and I can see all your work. Tap drawing and label each group of ten Then tap rec and record yourself counting your pennies by 10s. Tap pause to stop your recording. Finally tap check and listen to your recording and rerecord it if you can't hear yourself clearly. Then tap check again to send it to Mr. B
