CCSS: .MATH.CONTENT.K.OA.A.1, CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.OA.A.2 In this activity students will view a 2.5 minute mini-lesson and then practice building part-part-whole for numbers 5-12. This is a gradual release in that for numbers 5-6 the counters are provided, in #7 there are extra counters to ensure the student knows to use only 7, #8-12 the students is asked to provide their own counters by using the Marker tool and tapping on the sides to show their thinking.
