Student Instructions

Listen to the video and LIST questions (at least 6/10) you might have about the story. These questions can go inside your reader's notebook. Post these questions on Seesaw with the date and title. When you are done posting the questions, follow the steps on the form (Critical Reading: Growing idea/Questioning the Text) given to you, and complete a 1/2 page (or longer) response with your growing ideas. To grow an idea about a text you can do the following: - Ask questions and explain why you are asking this type of question - Compare the text to another text similar. - Compare the text to another situation or problem. - Agree or disagree with the text and provide evidence for both. - Make a personal connection and explain how they are similar/not similar Write your response in your reader's notebook and post it on Seesaw when finished.
