Angle Measuring with Labels

Student Instructions

add Tap Add to start this Activity. drawing Tap the Drawing pencil and choose a color that is easy to see. Trace over an angle in the Angle Cluster to make it stand out. label Tap the Label tool at the bottom. Drag the angle measuring label to your angle and rotate it to measure by dragging the circular arrows. Keep your finger on the arrows as you measure and watch the degree measurement show up. Double tap the label in the answer box and edit it to show the angle you measured. Remember to leave the degrees symbol in your answer. check check Post your work.

Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

This activity can be further enhanced by highlighting several angles with separate colors. In the answer box, students can make duplicates of the label and change the color of the text to match the angle highlighted. Recording an audio explanation is optional and encouraged. Bonus if your students use the Pointer arrow to clearly show the angles they are talking about. Double bonus is they rotate the Measurement Tool during the recording to demonstrate how they know the answer.
