Scratch & Read - Comparing Unit Fractions

Today you will compare unit fractions, looking for the larger fraction. Remember unit fractions ALWAYS have a numerator of 1, but the denominators will change, depending on how many equal pieces the whole has been cut into. Directions: 1. Click add to add this activity to your canvas. 2. Use the eraser to scratch off one flower at a time. Evaluate which fraction is larger. 3. Click the mic to record which fraction is larger. Use this phrase for your sentence frame: "1/2 is larger than 1/8" in your recording. Remember to speak slowly and clearly. 4. Carefully listen to your recording to check your work. 5. Click the check to turn in your activity. Happy Scratching!
