In this activity students will explore problem solving and using math vocabulary words up, down, horizontal and vertical. They will watch a video of an episode of Peg + Cat from PBS LearningMedia. In the video, Peg and Cat get stuck in a tree and have to explore several different solutions to help them get down. After watching the video students will use the drawing tools to draw something that will help Peg and Cat get down from the tree and record themselves talking about their drawing using the math vocabulary words up, down, horizontal and vertical.
