Student Instructions

Make sure to grab your independent reading book. 1. Tap add Add Response. 2. Read page 1 to remind yourself how to make predictions before, during, and after reading. 3. Use the photo photo tool and drawing drawing tool to share your evidence. 4. Use the label label tool to predict before, during, or after your reading. 5. Use the mic mic to read and record your prediction. 6. Tap the check green check to submit.

Grades 3-5 Overview: Students will make a prediction about their book in Seesaw. They will type and record themselves reading their prediction in order to practice predicting skills. This Activity can be completed during centers, stations, rotations, or independent work time. How to Use This Activity: Assign this Activity after you have taught students how to make predictions. Schedule this Activity to be assigned to students during their rotation or independent work time. Assign this Activity as often as you would like students to be practicing predicting skills. Students can hand write their prediction and use the photo tool to capture it in Seesaw if needed. Materials: Independent reading book Standards: CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.CCRA.R.1
