Student Instructions

If a shape has two dimensions, it means there are 2 ways it can be measured in space. All 2D shapes can be measured by their length and width. But remember, shapes that are 2D are completely flat. Watch the link video to the left to learn more about 2D shapes. Activity 1. Tap add to begin. 2. Go for a walk around the room and locate some 2D shapes. 3. Take a photo picture of a shape you see in your home and add it to the template. 4. Use the mic and record yourself describing the shape using the sentence starters. 5. Repeat this for all 6 pages. 6. Press the check to share your shapes. Australian Curriculum Achievement Standard Students describe two-dimensional shapes and three-dimensional objects.
