Grades: 6th Grade, 5th Grade, 7th Grade
Subjects: Special Education, Character Building

Student Instructions

Learning Intention: Identify appropriate ways to enter a classroom. It is very disturbing to have a lesson interrupted by a noisy student entering the room, or to students who enter bringing in arguments and bad moods from outside. It is an important skills for students to walk into a classroom quietly and ready to learn. Thinking questions: 1. When you are walking past classrooms in class time, what is normally happening in the classrooms? 2. Do people come in to your room from time to time? Why? 3. When you have interruptions, what do students usually do? 4. When you have to enter class after it has started, how can you enter the room without interrupting too much? 5. How can the whole class enter a classroom peacefully? Directions: Write another way that students can improve the way they are entering the classroom.
