Student Instructions

1) Create a design or picture using your base ten blocks (hundreds, tens, and ones) 2) Click Mathigon link - https://mathigon.org/polypad 3) In the left menu click "Tiles" -> "Numbers" -> "Number tiles" 4) Use the base ten block number tiles to recreate your blocks creation 5) Use the Seesaw extension to take a picture of your image creation 6) Share as many ways as you can to tell about your number creation: -standard form -expanded form -place value chart form -word form 7) Record yourself sharing the word form of your number 8) draft to save progress 9) check to submit when done See attached teacher example

Reviewing up to 1000 from grade 3 with this activity Mathigon doesn't have 1000 cubes so they will not be able to use those, but they still could use hundreds and create numbers to 10 000.
