Student Instructions

Spiders All species of spiders have 8 legs. Many have 3 pairs of eyes. 1. Use the template to fill in a table for the number of legs and eyes on spiders. (Use the label to type the information in the graph.) 2. Graph the resulting coordinate pairs of legs . Use the glowpen to mark the coordinates on the x and y axis. 3. Use the mic and answer these questions: What is the rule for how the number of legs grows? What is the rule for how the number of eyes grows? What is the relationship between the number of legs and eyes? Explain how you know. Remember to use academic math words in your explanation. For example: pattern, plot, x axis, y axis, coordinate plane 4. Remember to use the check to save your work.
