Find objects around your home and measure their length. STEPS: 1. Using duplo, lego, or any other blocks that connect, make a 'ruler' that will become your measuring tool. (Extension: use a cm ruler) 2. Collect some objects in your home. Estimate and then measure their length. Draw the object in your book and record its length. For example: The water bottle is 13 blocks long 3. Compare the objects that you measured. Which object was the longest? Which object was the shortest? 4. Extension: Order all your objects starting from the shortest to the longest. 5. Press and share your work 💭Learning Intention: To use informal or formal units to measure different sized objects around the home and compare their sizes. ⭐Success Criteria: I can understand which objects are longer and shorter when comparing them. I can use a measuring tool to measure different sized objects and order them from shortest to longest.
