L.I: We are learning to measure and compare the area of a regular shape. S.C: I can count the area of a shape using grid squares. I can compare the area of a shape by stating which shape has a smaller or larger area. 1. Watch the instruction attached to this activity. 2. Count the number of grid squares in each coloured shape and use the tool to label the shape. 3. Use the tool to answer the questions about the area of the shapes. 4.You may choose to do the hot challenge also. 5.Click the button to submit your work. 6. Have a go at the following area game https://toytheater.com/area-climber/ *Set your alarm for 30 minutes. Upload whatever you have finished when your alarm goes off. This task should take no longer than 30 minutes.
