Grades 3-5 Overview: Students make text to self, text to text, and text to world connections in Seesaw. Students will type and record themselves reading their connections in order to practice these skills. This Activity can be completed during centers, stations, rotations, or independent work time. How to Use This Activity: Assign this Activity after you have taught students how to make text connections. Schedule this Activity to be assigned to students during their rotation or independent work time. Students can make one or more connections to a paragraph, chapter, or entire text they read. Assign this Activity as often as you would like students to be practicing connection skills. Students can hand write their summary and use the photo tool to capture it in Seesaw if needed.
