Want to do some drumming?? But you don't have drumsticks?? No problem! You can use two pencils or two spoons, or two sticks or two chopsticks as drumsticks!! In this activity, you are going to explore the different sounds you can make when you hit your "drumsticks" on different surfaces in your house - wooden table, carpet, tile, cushion, door etc. Tap video when you are ready to get started! As you hit a surface, listen to the sound it makes - is it loud, quiet, high sound, quiet sound? Remember the video lasts a maximum of 5 minutes. **Remember to be Principled and ONLY hit the "drumsticks" on surfaces an adult say are ok to hit!** Learning Intentions: To develop listening skills To develop an awareness of sounds in the environment To tune into loud and soft sounds
