Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

If you do not have access to the Pattern Shape app, you may use concrete 2d shapes to create a pattern. An extension activity could be that students create their own pattern, rather than selecting a pre-made one from the app, and then record its fractions or swap with a partner to figure out.
