Place Value Practice - Showing the value of hundreds, tens, and ones

We have been learning how to find the value of a handful of base ten pieces. 1. Take 10 base ten pieces. You must have at least 1 hundred, 1 ten, and 1 one. 2. Put your base ten pieces on a flat surface, sorted by their value. 3. Take a picture of your pieces. 4. Write the value of your pieces all together. 5. Tell how you found the value of your pieces. How did you count them to find the total amount? 6. Tap the green check to add your work to your journal! *If there is still time, you can repeat the activity with 10 different base ten pieces. Just press "respond again."
