SP 3 Recognize and Use Phonograms with a VCe Pattern (2nd Gr)

Grades: 2nd Grade
Subjects: English Language Arts

Student Instructions

Some words have a vowel, a consonant, and a silent e. The vowel sound is usually the name of the first vowel (the a in place, i in ripe, o in rode, u in tube) 1. use the move tool and move the short vowel word in each column 2. use the mic and read the short vowel word and read the long vowel word Remember that when we add an e to the end of a VC word, most of the time it makes the first vowel say its name.
