(S7) Selfie Science: Mangrove Walk at Round Island State Park

Student Instructions

The purpose of this activity is to explore a mangrove rich environment. Round Island Park is a great place to see each type of mangrove tree. 1. Ask your parents to go to Round Island State Park. 2. Walk the paths of Round Island to find Red Mangrove trees, Black Mangrove Trees, and White Mangrove Trees. Take photos. 3. Use the mic to explain your walk. *You do not have to go to Round Island. You can go on a Mangrove Walk at the Environmental Learning Center or other locations.
