Learning Intentions: - I am learning how to create a picture response to a book. Success Criteria: - I can create a picture that includes a setting for my character (a penguin). - I can explain my picture to others. **NOTE** This activity was created as a picture response for the book "If You Were a Penguin" by Florence Friedmann Minor and Wendell Minor. It could also be used as a stand-alone activity for a winter-themed language arts lesson.
