Student Instructions

Living and nonliving things are all around us. When we're trying to decide if something is living or nonliving, we need to look at its characteristics to decide. Living things eat, breathe, move, grow, and reproduce. If something doesn't do all of these things, it's a nonliving object. In this activity, you'll be deciding if pictures show living or nonliving things. Tap the green add . On page 1, tap the link to review what we know about living and nonliving things with a book. On page 2, press play to review what we know about living things. On page 3, look at each of the pictures at the bottom of the screen. Use move to sort the pictures into living and nonliving groups. When you're finished, tap the check to turn in your work.
